I've been working on my Sylvia series of paintings for the last three years. Sylvia is my muse; she is the “perfect” woman. Sometimes I am in the painting with her, sometimes she finds herself in odd places and situations. She allows me to show how ridiculous our society can be. Sometimes I put her in places where I have felt awkward or misunderstood. I’ve had many ideas with the Sylvia paintings which encourages me to paint more profusely, and I find myself always improving
and moving forward.
